I need help losing 43 pounds?

Ok well I'm 16 years old and I weigh 213lbs and I'm 5"6. I really need to lose weight, I've been fat my whole life and I'm sick of it. I was wondering if anyone could help me make an exercise and diet plan. I already exercise.I walk on the treadmill everyday for 1hr, I dont think this is enough, I think I need to exercise more because I stay at home all day and usually just sit and watch tv, and for food well for breakfast I have Special K cereal and for lunch I usually have a sandwich, and for dinner I usually eat whatever is made. I drink like 4 gles of water everyday as well. I have a problem with snacking between lunch and dinner, I just go into the pantry and eat whatever I see. I cant tell my parents not to bring that kind of food because I have a little brother and the snacks are for him. Also I don't want to try any diet pills or whatever I just want to exercise and eat healthy. Also I cant go to the gym. I have a treadmill and a stationary bike that's basically all I can do. I know I can't lose 43 pounds before school starts but I'd like to be at least in the 100's by then which is in like 7 weeks. So if anyone has any ideas I would really appreciate it.

Family arguments picking sides?

Whenever my parents fight, my sister tries to be a pseudo-psychiatrist and tries to be on both of the sides of the argument. Like when they fight, she will say to my mom something like "You shouldn't do this", which my dad uses for ammo against my mom, then my sister says something like that to my dad, which my mother uses. What she does doesn't help, and when it doesn't work, she starts crying and yelling "STOP YELLING" or something along those lines, which just pisses of my parents more cause they have to deal with a crying 13 year old. How can I teach her that she should either pick a damn side or stay out of it, cause shes making things exponentially worse. I'm not sure if this info is needed but I am 14 years of age.

I am 25 and I have had gyno problems for over a year now. I have normal pap's but an abnormal cervix... Every time I go all of my tests come back normal. All std's and even my pap's. im 32 weeks with fraternal twins. this is my third pregnancy, 2 l births. the first twin is head down and the second is breech with little chance of turning at this stage. i was talking to the doc about my birth options and told her i was keen for a l birth. the thought of recovery from a c section terrifies me, i have been so immobile and in pain for months with the pregnancy ive had enough of it all. she said that twin A could safely be born lly but if twin B cannot be turned they will still try to deliver it lly. an epidural will be available to me which i am delighted with. if there are complications with twin B i will need to be sectioned. this would mean a l birth and then a section, which sounds hideous to me. should i take the risk, or just go for a complete section?? my instincts are telling me to stick to my plan..

I am offended by it. It is like poking fun by trying to make light of the worst emotional effect during treatment. I lost my hair to chemo, but no one knew about it. I kept it secret and didn't advertise. Then it wasn't such a big deal and no one had to feel weird around me. If you did this, you would be advertising for the wrong reasons. Just donate to charity if you must do something. Buy a cancer patient a wig or a hat or scarf. I had insurance but still had to pay thousands in bills, which was very difficult. I would have appreciated help without having to go through some big rig-a-ma-roll.

Hair breakage, what can I do?

I take extremely good care of my hair. I've grown it out to several inches past my shoulder, from it being only an inch or so long. Since it was cut off, I planned to quit dying it (which I've lived up to), to see what it would be like long and untreated. I don't blow dry, or flat-iron. It looks pretty good surprisingly for what I do to it, or lack there of. I don't over do anything to keep it in good condition. I'm crazy about my hair being perfect, and to me, this is the best way to do it. I have places where my hair has broken from the occasional blow-dries, or brushing, basically there's flyaway's, not to be mistaken with frizz, and its not mostly at the top of my head like most people, but more a couple inches from the top. It drives me crazy because the rest of it looks great. There's a lot of things people use, cholesterol, mayo, eggs, avocados, deep conditioners. I want to know what will fix my hair, the best, the quickest, and in a way that won't damage it in the long run i.e. straightening. I'm apso seeking tips or secrets that other people use to keep their hair looking awesome, shiny and breakage free. Thanks for the help.

I am "workerman mommy" and am trying to organize our tons of toys! I purchased laminate shelves and L brackets to hang on my drywall. Problem with Bloodworms that made it to gravel!!?

Ok, I have never fed live bloodworms to my fish before, and they loved it, only problem is that a few ( I didn't over feed, my fish were just too slow for the fast lil suckers!) made it to my gravel, and now they are crawling around in my tank! I'm hoping that they will be eaten, but if not and by chance they outrun my slowpokes again, are they harmful? I have tried to get them out using a suction medicine dropper, but those things are too fast for me. Plus it doesn't help that my male Jellybean is still upset with me for earlier in which I took his babies...still is biting me whenever I put my hand in the tank...would the bloodworms eat or injure any of my Jellybean fry? I rolled my ankle really bad a week ago playing b-ball and the swelling has not gone away and theres a sharp pain between my ankle and achilles, it also has swellen on top of the foot and it has turned purple just above the soul of my foot. Why do I have trouble remembering what I read and understanding details in school?

I have great amount of trouble remembering what I read. Even if I read something I like I can't remember what happened AT ALL. I don't have learning disability, but I have asperger's. I have such an abstract thinking process that it is hard for me to break down information, which is why I have trouble understanding information in school. I only understand the main points. I can read technical books and understand everything, but I can't remember anything in a book even if I read aloud, or focus, or relax. i have trouble with comprehension a lot to and I have all A's in school. How should I organize my room?

The exact same thing happened to my hamster. I just made sure it drank alot. And kept it warm with a heating pad. I put a little bit of sugar in her water. And fed her oatmeal, she liked it alot. So maybe just give your mouse little oatmeal to make sure she's eating. Call your local pet store and vet. Even though it is expensive, if the veterinarian on the phone says it is serious, try to bring Bianca to a vet. Hope she gets better! Lower abdominal pain, no right side, been to dr. several times, no answer yet?

I've had a sonogram, CT scan, pelvic exam. Pelvic came back normal, as did CT scan. Sonogram showed several small cysts which dr. says shouldn't be causing pain. Stool samples came back negative. Went to an internal specialist, who says blood work shows an inflammation. Next step is MRI. Any ideas? I'm scared.

I have been in hospital for last four days. After 2 cat-scans, mri with contrast and 2 lumbar punctures, I have been told this is what I have. Can anyone help me understand this condition better? Is it a disease or just a disorder and will have I have it the rest of my life? I have constant blurred vision in my left eye but was told my optic nerve in both eyes is swollen. I'm taking 500mg diamox twice a day but have notice a tingling feeling in my feet is this normal? Also my opening pressure from the spinal tap was 450mm is this real bad or just a little above average. And is this rare or a common problem with women? I know I should be asking my doctor but I refused to see the neurologists that the hospital recommended because of his non detailed answers to my questions and when he did my first spinal tap he stuck me five different times and still didn't get it right after about forty mins of pure pain. When I had second one done by different doctor it barely felt like a bee sting so I figured this dr couldn't be that good. Also is there a chance i could have been misdiagnosed? Implanation bleeding or my period ?

okay so im 19, and my cycle is regular for the most part. me and my bf had on atleast 2 of my fertile days im sure of. i was supposed to get my period on the 16th ... it was a no show. instead on the 18th it was bleeding but not heavy enough to be a period. i put on a pad jus in case (sorry tmi) & the only thing on it looked to be brown, and when i wiped it was like bright red or pink. its not heavy at all and has gotten lighter, today is the 2nd day. i also had menstrual cramps a week before my period was due buh no bleeding. the only other symptoms ive had is lower back aches, nausea (like i feel like ima throw up my food but never do), and headaches ... can someone help ?

Alrigth im 15 and enjoy reading. I like romance and oddly enough like sad stories. Combine those two and you get the Notebook by nicolas sparks which happens to b my favorite book of all times. Does anyone have any other books that i might enjoy. My reading level is at a 12th grade/college level so aka im a very strong reader. Distemper Disinfecting?

I lost my Poodle a month and a half ago to distemper, I have scrubbed everything with Lysol and shampooed all the carpets. Everyone says to use bleach, but Lysol is the same thing isn't it? I was also wondering about the back yard, how do I fully disinfect it? I have purchased a new pup, but he won't come to live with me until he is fully vaccinated at 15 weeks old. I am still very nervous though and want to make sure that every inch is safe. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

How to improve my singing voice because of a chest cold?

had an amazing couple of nights away at a lovely little country house hotel. I mean we have been away plenty in the past and its always been brilliant. But I have just noticed what really good care he takes of himself, his skin, clothing etc. He iron all his clothes so well with care, way better than I do and he has always shaved everyday but he puts on these brilliant creams on his hands and face that make his skin lovely and soft even though he has worked with his hands all his life. He keeps fit anyway so he has a brilliant body. The thing is, he is not vain in the slightest and he worships me like a goddess, plus he always dresses well for me, I've never once felt like complaining about his hygiene, bad habits or poor dress sense because he doesn't have any of that. He is just so well mannered and treats me well and eating with him is always a pleasure. Oh yes we have our niggles (as I posted in an earlier question and some of you thought i meant i didn't always love him). Its been 3 and a half years and he is still like this. How common are wrong side biopsies?

My original ultrasound showed a right side nodule and I was sent for a right side biopsy. It came back benign. My doctor recently requested the report and the report showed the biopsy was done on a left nodule. I don't even have a left nodule. No wonder it was benign. Well the one on the right is now very large with a cyst and my thyroid is enlarged. I have chest pain,panic attacks, my joints ache, head aches all of the time, my throat is dry, achy and it's difficult to swallow, I am hungry all of the time, at times I have double vision, blurry vision and just feel unwell. My endo. is terrible, I am the one that actually read the biopsy report and noticed that it was the wrong side, she said "benign it's fine, you just have Hashimotos thyroiditis, come back in 6 months" I said " let me see that". Then I said " look, it's the wrong side". I waited 3 months to see this doctor! She finally said that I do need a new biopsy and to come back on January 8th, what a joke. So I went to my PCP on friday and he scheduled a biopsy for me tomorrow. I am NEVER going back to that endo. again. So now I will finally get the correct biopsy tomorrow. My thyroid function is 1.16 and I usually have thyroid antibodies in my blood but it didn't show that on my blood work last week possibly because of the medrol I have been on for the past 3 month for all of the joint pain I have been experiencing. I heard that medrol can supress your immune system, is that true? I have made an appointment with a new endo. but that won't be until 1/15/10.

What is the difference between a CNA and a LNA?

Hi, I live in PA and originally I was planning on going to school to be a MA, but after hearing there are little to zero jobs available in that field I am considering a change to be a CNA. Then I started seeing all these comments on here about becoming a LNA. What is the difference between the two or are they the same thing just different area's label them differently. I've never saw a listing in the paper for a LNA..its always CNA. I would like to go to school get certified or licensed if LNA is a bit higher up w/ roughly the same schooling and once my son is old enough to start Pre-K i'd like to then start taking cles to work my way up to be a LPN then RN eventually. But right now I'd just like to know if there is a difference between a CNA and a LNA and if so what it is. Thank you so much.

I love the skirt and the shoes haha! And no I don't think it's too much black! I love wearing black. I think for a top, you should maybe get something that's more colorful, and maybe a little loose since the skirt is fairly tight. I would suggest something maybe floral with a zipper down the front. I've seen shirts like this, I just can't find any good examples at the moment to show you lol sorry about that! And maybe a leather jacket on top or something. Cylinder 1 misfire...again?

Ok..I have a 96 pontiac firebird..v6, 3.4 cylinder. I've got a reading from the OBD-II still saying cylinder 1 misfire even after I've replaced alot of parts. I've replaced the fuel pump, the fuel filter, 2 of the O2 sensors, cleaned the fuel injectors and replaced the O rings, I've also replaced the ignition coils, the spark plugs and wires, the ignition module, and the air filter. I've also replaced the compressor for my air conditioning and of course the belt as well. What more could possibly be wrong with my clunker car?!?!?
