Any1 know anything about Pseudo-tumor Cerebrei?

I have been in hospital for last four days. After 2 cat-scans, mri with contrast and 2 lumbar punctures, I have been told this is what I have. Can anyone help me understand this condition better? Is it a disease or just a disorder and will have I have it the rest of my life? I have constant blurred vision in my left eye but was told my optic nerve in both eyes is swollen. I'm taking 500mg diamox twice a day but have notice a tingling feeling in my feet is this normal? Also my opening pressure from the spinal tap was 450mm is this real bad or just a little above average. And is this rare or a common problem with women? I know I should be asking my doctor but I refused to see the neurologists that the hospital recommended because of his non detailed answers to my questions and when he did my first spinal tap he stuck me five different times and still didn't get it right after about forty mins of pure pain. When I had second one done by different doctor it barely felt like a bee sting so I figured this dr couldn't be that good. Also is there a chance i could have been misdiagnosed? I have an appt with a different neurologist in a few days but wanted some answers now. Sorry so long but thanks in advance for any answers.
