I'm six weeks pregnant and i need help from someone!

My insurance doesn't start for 90 days and I need to go to the doctor. What do I do? I am clueless here. If I call a doctor's office will they laugh at me for saying I am uninsured? My husband just started a new job and makes to much for Medicaide. We are willing to pay for doctor's visits but how do I go about it? I really need some advice from someone who knows, or has been through this. Thank you!
