How to improve my singing voice because of a chest cold?

I've had this bad chest cold for about a week or so, and it has hit my singing voice hard, i've tried everything(drinking tea with lemon and honey, gargling warm salt water, sucking on a lemon, taking medicine and much more disgusting things) but nothing is improving my singing voice, and its nothing that serious because i talk just fine and it doesnt hurt at all, i just want my regular good singing voice back, and i want this terrible chest cold to go away...what should i do...PLEAZ HELP ME!!!
