I'm planning to shave my hair for charity. How do you feel about those people shaved their hair for charity?

I am offended by it. It is like poking fun by trying to make light of the worst emotional effect during treatment. I lost my hair to chemo, but no one knew about it. I kept it secret and didn't advertise. Then it wasn't such a big deal and no one had to feel weird around me. If you did this, you would be advertising for the wrong reasons. Just donate to charity if you must do something. Buy a cancer patient a wig or a hat or scarf. I had insurance but still had to pay thousands in bills, which was very difficult. I would have appreciated help without having to go through some big rig-a-ma-roll.
