I have a 4 week old baby which I feed during the day and give him formula twice a night.?

Lately he has been a little fussy. He has been gy and I give him Mylicon for it which helps but I wonder if the forumla is affecting his tummy..even if he only gets it twice within a 24 hour period. I don't believe he is colic because he doesnt cry for hours but he does randomly let out some painful cries. Im not sure whether I should change his formula or just keep giving him gas medicine...any suggestions??
