How is it that some mom's think it is ok to bring thier children to a nail salon?

I would like to know why is it that lately when I do to my local nail salon after work to relax and get pampered... some inconsiderate mother brings their ill mannered kids in or a screaming infant? Today I was sat next to a woman who was in a spa chair getting a pedicure while holding her 1 year old son.. who screamed the entire time... really? Do you think that I am being a little selfish when I think that is almost cruel to the kid?
